Description:
Ball Systems is searching for a Electronics Soldering Technician who is highly motivated, enjoys unique challenges, comfortable with varied assignments, is detail-oriented, and has the skill set to take on the assembly of advanced custom test equipment. The Electronics Soldering Technician will work closely with an assigned Project Engineer/Manager to solve problems, maintain project schedules and drive projects to completion.
Electronics Soldering Technician Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Printed circuit board thru-hole and SMD hand soldering.
- Read and interpret PCB part placement instructions, electrical schematics, and other customer specifications.
- Test functional performance of electromechanical devices.
- Custom cable assembly using various OEM contact crimp tooling.
- Perform manual assembly of benchtop electronic devices used in avionic systems and military systems.
- Usage of hand assembly tools.
- Ensuring a high level of quality in all phases of production.
- Familiarity with testing and quality assurance procedures.
- Usage of DMM’s, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc. (Not required but a plus).
Electronics Soldering Technician Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in Electronics soldering.
- High Level of Detail.
- Great Communication Skills.
- US citizenship or current Green Card required. We cannot sponsor visas due to our military contracts. Please confirm citizenship requirements are met when applying.
Hourly Rate: $18-$24/hr depending on experience
